To maintain the integrity, performance, and reliability of the SolCloud network, nodes must meet certain hardware specifications. These requirements ensure that nodes can efficiently handle data storage, encryption/decryption tasks, and network communications. Here are the recommended specifications for a SolCloud node:
Processor (CPU): A modern multi-core CPU, min requirements(e.g., Intel i7, i9, AMD Ryzen 7, Ryzen 9, or equivalent) with a minimum clock speed of 2.5 GHz to efficiently manage blockchain transactions and data processing tasks.
Memory (RAM): Minimum of 16GB RAM, with 32GB or more recommended for optimal performance, especially for nodes that will handle high volumes of transactions and data encryption/decryption processes.
Storage: At least 1TB of SSD (Solid State Drive) storage for the operating system, SolCloud software, and blockchain data. Additional high-capacity HDD (Hard Disk Drive) or SSD storage is required for data storage, starting from 4TB and scalable according to the node operator's capacity to contribute to the network.
Internet Connection: A stable and fast internet connection with a minimum upload and download speed of 100 Mbps. Higher speeds and unlimited bandwidth are recommended to handle large data transfers efficiently.
Power Supply: A reliable power supply with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) backup is recommended to ensure node uptime and reliability, especially in areas prone to power outages.
The SolCloud platform relies on a distributed server infrastructure to ensure high availability, data redundancy, and fault tolerance. Here are key aspects of the server setup:

Staking: Operators may be required to stake $CLOUD tokens as a form of security deposit, which promotes honest and reliable node operation. Staked tokens can also earn rewards, providing an additional incentive for operators.
